Charles Bernstein papers, 1962-2000.

Literary papers of a United States poet, writer and editor documenting his career from the early 1960s to 2000. The collection contains correspondence with writers, editors, publishers, artists, and family members; notebooks and journals; manuscripts, typescripts and publication materials for poems, essays and other collected works; and documentation of collaborations, especially the multi-authored poem Legend. Includes high school and college writings and notebooks; medical journal writing for hire; and editorial projects, including the LANGUAGE Journal and Boundry 2. Also contains copies of prepublication writings of others; production and business materials pertaining to L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E, Segue Books, and the Asylum Press.
